Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin pop culture. In the year 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. It peaked at number eight on the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following calendar year Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. The year 2021 was the first time he performed in a duet with TINI for her viral stream single Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. In his interviews, he said music participation as mandatory. When he was young, he taught how to play the piano, guitar as well as the ukulele. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons from an Cuban singer, he altered his the direction of his career.
